This practice builds confident learners as students reflect on their work and observe growth over time. Too often, students view assessments as something done TO them by someone else. Portfolios provide structure for students to develop an understanding of what makes something good ... what makes a film good? The habit of reflection invites students to learn beyond the classroom (Helen C. Barrett). The app Google Sites makes an excellent platform for students to built an electronic portfolio to showcases their best work and personal reflections on their filmmaking journey. 2016-17
